The Binnenhof as a medieval castle
A guided walk
Your pupils explore the Binnenhof as it was centuries ago: the court of the Counts of Holland, surrounded by moats and walls with three access gates.
The Binnenhof went through many dramatic changes over the course of seven centuries. We track its architecture and history, from castle to centre of government. During our city walk in The Hague, we show pupils where historic moments unfolded. This walk can easily be combined with our museum lesson.
